POPercussion Cajon Drums

Professional cajon drums, handcrafted in small batches from selected materials, matured through a steady exposure to Jazz, Flamenco and Rock’n’Roll, and fine-tuned by a veteran percussionist.

Inspired by traditional Peruvian and modern Flamenco cajons, but designed to go far beyond the origins for applications in virtually all musical styles.

A must for Flamenco percussionists for a long time, and the preferred alternative choice for drummers: perfectly doubling for a drumset sound in recording, acoustic gigs, living room rehearsals, songwriting sessions, around a campfire, for streetmusic, and more... so successful in this role they call it “The Drummer’s Cajon”.

POPercussion cajons have been a feature in the music scenes of the United States, Canada and the Pacific Rim since 1999. They have found their use in songs by artists as varied as Jennifer Lopez, Los Lobos, David Sylvian, Pink Martini, Lila Downs, Sara Bareilles, and many more.

Now, for the first time, they are available in the European music market.
